Damn I Need Money.com

One of the reasons I added this blogging feature was so that up and coming webmasters or even established ones could get the word out about their resourceful websites. Even if the site is unrelated to the job seekers plight, if the content of the post is interesting or relevant then I invite them to post and in return I provide them with a free link to their web site. Not many have taken me up on this so far so I thought I might make use of it myself.

 

One site of mine Damn I Need Money.com started as a offshoot of this one and what I initially thought was a clever domain name registration. I have had it for several years and haven’t really done much with it other than post a few articles I ran across and a few links to some resources that I have found. Lately though it has begun to mature as far as the search engines are concerned and is starting to get some traffic. I would love to nurture this along and grow this site into something like damnIneedAjob.com has become. Where damnineedajob.com has evolved into a relief zone/air pocket for the employment challenged I would like to see damnIneedMoney.com take on some of those same qualities.

 

I guess the point of this post is to solicit ideas for the site. Ideas like “give away money” I have already considered but I have run into somewhat of a barrier: Um, where does that money come from? I thought about adding a guest blogger module very much like this one where people can share their challenges, possible solutions they found and get feedback from visitors. I would also invite people to submit their own resource sites and ideas. I think I could create a section on the damn forum to accommodate peer discussion and idea sharing.

 

If you haven’t figured it out by now I make no claim to having all the answers on how to get a job or where to get money. I have recognized a need for a landing strip for people frustrated in their quest. I am not a missionary by any stretch of the word but providing a place where folks can get these frustrations off their chest has brought me some satisfaction. So I welcome suggestions for Damn I Need Money.com that people would be interested in. That would help people. Believe me I surprised myself with the gratification that actually provides.
